What documents and information are required to begin the design process for MV and LV grid connections?
To begin the grid connection design process, the following documents and information are required:
- Planned energization date
- Final selection of PV modules, including technical datasheets and the exact number of units to be installed
- Final selection of inverters, including technical datasheets, harmonic performance documentation, and the exact number of units to be installed
- Final grid connection conditions, including all amendments
- Grid Connection Agreement signed by both parties
- DWG site plan showing the installation location and the planned MV cable route
- Site layout plan (PZT) indicating the area covered by the Zoning Decision – the PV installation must be located within the approved development area in accordance with the current DSO requirements
- Investor’s operating personnel holding valid SEP authorizations required for the Operational Cooperation Instructions (IWR)
- Power of Attorney (template to be provided by NEZE)
- Details regarding the transformer substation supplier (supplier contact information)
- Transformer technical datasheet (provided by the transformer substation supplier)
- Secondary circuit diagrams for the transformer substation (to be provided 14 days before project submission)
Additionally, for installations connected to existing facilities (e.g. industrial plants), the following documents are required:
- Existing transformer substation single-line diagrams
- Previously approved design documentation, including metering systems, MV switchgear, LV switchgear, etc.
- Information about the existing MV connection (type and cable length) for metering loss calculations
- Current Operational Cooperation Instructions (IWR)
- Photographs of the existing transformer substation
